The word "Doypack" is actually a trademarked term used by the French packaging company, Thimonnier. It is derived from a combination of the words "doy" and "packaging". "Doy" refers to the French word "dossier", which means "file folder". The shape of the Doypack pouch, with its flattened base and curved body, resembles a file folder.

Doy pack is a type of flexible packaging used primarily for food products. It is a stand-up pouch, made of multi-layer plastic films, with a reinforced bottom structure that allows it to remain stable when filled.

>Are daypacks the same as doy bags?

Daypacks are small backpacks or bags designed for short excursions or day trips, typically used for carrying essentials such as water bottles, snacks, and extra clothing. Daypacks usually have a capacity of 20-30 liters and are made of durable materials such as nylon or polyester.

On the other hand, doy bags or doypacks are a type of flexible packaging used for food products such as snacks, pet food, or coffee. Doy packs are made of a multi-layer plastic film, and their unique shape allows them to stand upright on store shelves, giving them better shelf appeal.
